Two Quick Print workstations were recently installed on level two. They are located near the copier/printer/scanner. Students asked for this service and we are happy to have this in place for when you need to print, but don’t have much time. The library’s workstations are often full and the Quick Print stations provide an easy way for you to print your papers, research articles, or PowerPoint slides.
We heard you!

All are invited to an opening reception and ribbon cutting on April 19th at 5:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.
The Bear Cave is in the library’s Rotunda near Flohr Lecture Hall.
In early April, the campus 24 hour study space will open. We will soon announce the opening day. The lab is a hybrid study space complete with 12 computers, a printer, and work tables with power supplies to charge your laptop and cell phone. Comfortable seating will arrive soon.
As we prepare to open the space, I’d like to thank the Student Government Association for their help in bringing this project to life. This space would not be possible without their advocacy and continued support. It has been delightful to partner with SGA on this project. We’d also like to thank SSU’s administration and the Board of Trustees for their support of this project. The lab is located in a space formerly reserved for board meetings, but board members supported opening the room for student use.
Students spoke and we listened!
The lab will be open during the hours the library is open, plus 24 hours on Sunday – Wednesday. We’ll add additional hours the week before finals and the week of finals.
We invite you stop at the Service Desk and ask for a “sneak peek” of the Bear Cave!
Sunday – Wednesday: 24 hours
Thursday: Open until 11:45 pm
Friday: Open 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: Open 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
